Our story · Since 2021
One small step. A deeply shared purpose.
It started with Bachpan Bachao.
In 2021, as the world felt like it was breaking apart during the global lockdown, we saw children suffering in silence as abuse escalated behind closed doors. As two high school students, Anagha and Priyanshi felt a profound need to do more than bear witness.
Our journey began with a project called ‘Bachpan Bachao’. That first session brought us face to face with children whose stories became the foundation of our mission. In their experiences, we saw both heartbreaking fragility and incredible resilience.
These ‘kacche dhaage’—tender, raw and unformed young lives—hold immense strength when shielded by empathy, awareness and guidance. We believe that together, we can build an unbreakable fortress of safety around every child, so no young life is left to stand alone in the dark.
A simple principle. A powerful promise.
Our work is guided by A.P.P.: Aware, Prevent and Protect.
Awareness. We foster open dialogue and run educational campaigns to shed light on child abuse and break down societal taboos.
Prevention. We equip children, parents and educators with the knowledge and tools to recognise and prevent situations of abuse.
Protection. We advocate for every child’s rights and well-being, supporting systems and communities that offer safety and care.
